SUSTAINABILITY
Solart Festival Sustainability Commitment
A conscious vision
At Solart Festival we understand that creative talent and respect for the planet must move forward together. Our sustainability program starts from an essential principle: every decision -from logistics to the audience experience- must decrease the ecological footprint and inspire responsible habits.
Strategic objectives
- Minimal impact: design an event with the lowest possible demand of resources, prioritizing energy efficiency and water savings.
- Circular economy: use reusable or recyclable materials and give a second life to all surplus.
- Low-carbon mobility: encourage travel by public transport, bicycle or electric vehicles, offering preferential parking and shuttles.
- Local dynamization: collaborate with zero kilometer producers and suppliers so that the economic impact directly benefits the territory.

From theory to practice
Zero waste
Instead of discarding, we wash and reuse. A single cup replaces up to 150 units of disposable plastic.
Proximity consumption
By prioritizing local products, transport emissions are reduced and the archipelago's economy is strengthened.
Intelligent mobility
Shared routes and parking for bicycles and electric vehicles facilitate a comfortable arrival with a low carbon footprint.
A responsible cultural engine
Contemporary festivals can be catalysts for sustainable development: they attract quality tourism, boost the destination's image and foster local creativity. With this plan, Solart Festival aims to position itself as an environmental reference in the Canary Islands and demonstrate that leisure and conservation of the planet can go hand in hand.
